Amboy Minnesota was established in 1879 as a farming community centered around the rail lines that made up the cities hub of activity. People would trade goods and services in Amboy which eventually lead to the development of a city business district, school and many churches. Notice First Monday of every month at 7:00 PM City Council Meeting at City Hall Second Monday of every month at 7:00 PM Amboy Area Community Club Meeting held at City Hall or the Ridge School. LUMPY Live! is a group of Christian senior high youth who gather biweekly in a host home for a time to talk, listen, and share food together. All 9-12th grade youth are invited. All LUMPY Live gatherings are from 7-8 p.m. on alternate Wed eves.
